  • Our Mission

We know that the impact that sport can have on a young girl or teen is profound. Mentally, emotionally, & physically healthy & confident individuals is what this program strives for long-term.

We strive for all athletes in our program to feel they are good enough & that they belong here, no matter how they perform on the field.

We are committed to providing a positive & pressure-free environment. Burnout, loss of self-confidence, and overall unhappiness with sports is very prevalent in the youth & high school sports world when athletes are pressured into performance, especially at a young age.

If you’re not having FUN on the field, is it worth it?

We’re so happy that you’re here!

  • What We Offer

1.) 2nd-12th Grade Seasonal Training Programs
Our all-levels training programs focus on both a player’s individual & team skills. Each training program meets once or twice a week for 4-6 weeks in the fall & winter.

    2.) 2nd-12th Grade Year-Round Skills Clinics & Camps
Drop in for a 2-hour small group, skill-specific weekend clinic or join us for a multi-day camp!

3.) 2nd-8th Grade Spring Rec League
In the SPRING we play in the SoCal Lacrosse Association rec league. The season runs from late February to early May.

The ultimate goal for our youngest athletes is for them to choose & want to continue with sports and/or fitness throughout high school & into a healthy adulthood. Kids want FUN activities, and that’s why we use music & silly games in our programs.

β€œI feel really good when I’m on the field with Coach Elise. I think not many coaches know how to push their kids but also empower them. I love how I feel when being here!”

What Players Are Saying

  • β€œβ€¦[Coach Elise] has taught me not only how to be a better player but also a better teammate. She is really supportive and never makes you feel bad if you make a mistake, like the time I knocked her over on accident! She creates a welcoming environment for everyone to learn at every level. Her clinics have a nice balance between fun and intensity. She knows how to push everyone in their own way, and it feels like she sincerely cares about every single one of her players. I am so glad that I have been able to have her as a wonderful lacrosse coach.”

β€” Brigit, Sophomore / Point Loma HS Class of β€˜24

  • β€œElise’s camps are the perfect having fun to hard work ratio. I feel like I can have fun and be myself while actually improving and defining my skills. Her camps create a non-toxic environment which is hard to find in sports. She’s helped me grow my confidence as a player and her coaching style is very personal and specific to each girl. I’ve always felt seen as an individual player at Elise’s camps. Best lacrosse coach ever!!!"

β€” Tahmina, Junior / Canyon Hills HS Class of β€˜25

  • β€œThank you so much Elise and SD Girls LAX, for coaching me for several seasons and most recently to get me ready for my HS LAX tryouts. Elise is the most kind, positive and skilled coach I’ve ever had. I really appreciate all that you’ve done for me!”

β€” Ellie, Freshman / Point Loma HS Class of β€˜27

  • "I started {working with} Elise without a clue about how lacrosse is played and after a few lessons I had my skills developed enough to make the varsity team at my high school. I loved how she made learning the sport super fun and interactive."

β€” Hanna, Junior / Del Norte HS class of β€˜23

  • "I LOVED my private lesson with San Diego Girls Lacrosse. Right off the bat we got into some basics and went off what I needed to work on from there. The drills that I did were super engaging and well thought out, by the end of the private I had improved so much that I even shocked myself! 10/10 WOULD definitely recommend!!"

What Parents are Saying

  • β€œMy daughter loves SD Girls Lacrosse! Coach Elise is so kind, caring and positive on and off the field. My daughter really needed a kind and positive coach like Elise to teach her the skills that she needed to take her game to the next level. Coach Elise really builds confident and skilled players, while also running a fun program that girls look forward to going to. Most recently, I reached out to Coach Elise because my daughter was hesitant about trying out for her High School lax team, because a different coach had rocked her confidence. Elise once again, took my daughter under her wing, built her up and got her ready to crush it on the HS LAX field! Because of SD Girls LAX, my Freshman daughter made it on the Varsity lacrosse team at her high school. Thank you Elise and SD Girls LAX.”

    β€” B. / Parent of 9th Grade Athlete

  • Β  β€œI just wanted to say another thank you for being the perfect intro to lax for Talula. She learned a lot from you while having fun. She definitelyΒ feels more confident joining a team after your clinics. You are excellent at what you do and I/we appreciate you.”

    β€” Ashley C. / Parent of 7th Grade Athlete

  • β€œElise is comfortable working with every age and skill level. My 10-year-old had never played lacrosse and loved the skills camp. Elise made learning the fundamentals fun and kept all the girls engaged. She fosters a very inclusive environment for a beginner to learn, grow, and have a blast!”

    β€” Becky W. / Parent of 4th Grade Athlete

  • Β β€œThank you for being such a positive influence on our daughter. She has learned valuable skills that are now being put to good use on her high school lacrosse team. She is confident she knows what she is doing and can compete with girls who have been playing longer than she has due to the skills she learned. We look forward to summer clinics and a fall league with you. She made varsity as a freshman!β€œ

    β€” Yvonne O. / Parent of 9th Grade Athlete

  • "I'm just so glad she has such a good time in the highly positive environment you create. You do wonderful things for girls in a fragile age and we are blessed to have found you!"

    β€” Michelle R. / Parent of 6th Grade Athlete

  • β€œI'm so grateful she was able to get a few good sessions in with you so that she will be more confident come time for the high school lax tryouts. You were so welcoming and helpful to her that I really think it was the difference between her playing or not at [her high school]. Thank you so much for being such a great coach!”
